Unsupported Actions
1. Reinstall for Cloud Servers
- Status: Not supported by BFV.
- Explanation:
Our platform does not support a “reinstall” operation for cloud servers. This decision helps ensure consistency and stability across deployments. - Alternative Approach:
If you need to refresh or update your instance, consider:- Creating a new instance with the latest image.
- Booting from a newly created volume that contains your updated OS or configuration.
- Migrating your applications and data to the new instance.
2. Instance Snapshots
- Status: Instance snapshots are not supported.
- Explanation:
Instead of capturing an image of the entire instance, we recommend using volume snapshots or backups. This approach provides a more robust and flexible method to safeguard your data. - Alternative Approach:
